What is the difference between a wine and a spirit?
"At The Winery at Marjim Manor, wine is what you taste: spirits are who you meet!"
APPLETON, NY: The Winery at Marjim Manor - Please join us on Sunday October 18, 2020 for the The Winery at Marjim Manor Harvest Run. All participants (21 and older) will receive a free glass of wine, delicious food prepared by winery staff, and a free keepsake Marjim Manor cork screw/bottle opener! Participants are encouraged to dress up in halloween costumes for a chance to win some fun prizes!
Please note that depending on the weather, there may or may not be muddy areas on the course. We have decided to limit the total number of race participants to 150 maximum runners (3 waves with 50 runners max per wave). Each participant will run individually as we plan on starting runners one at a time with faster runners going ahead of slower runners to allow for proper social distancing on the course and to comply with state guidelines.

In the event of foul weather, public safety concerns, or for any other reason deemed necessary by race organizers (ex: state of emergency, shelter-in-place, limit on social gatherings, etc), we want runners to know up front that we are planning to convert this to a virtual 5K race. Runners will run 5K on their own during a designated window of time and submit their finish time as instructed. At their convenience, participants can stop by Spring Lake Winery and pickup their official race bib and complimentary gift. Save the bib and bring it back any time during the month of September to claim your free wine tasting. Additional information will be presented should we be forced to hold a virtual race. There will be no refunds.
